Temporary Change to Town Hall Hours : 90-Day Trial Effective Monday, October 5, 2026, Town Hall is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The Town Council will review the schedule at the end of the 90-day trial period, or sooner if the Council votes to change it.

Park Closure Notice Please be advised that the Yankeetown Children's Park and Pavilion will be closed to the public beginning Saturday, October 24, 2026, and will remain closed through Sunday, November 1, 2026. The closure is necessary so that the Parks and Recreation Department may prepare the park for the Halloween Event. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you at the event.

Waste Pro Recycling and Yard Debris Collection 10/9/26 Waste Pro intends to service the Town of Yankeetown tomorrow, Friday, October 9, 2026, for regularly scheduled recycling and yard debris pick up. Waste Pro will stay in close communication with Town Hall and will advise the Town of any changes to service as they arise. If Waste Pro is unable to provide recycling and yard debris pick up tomorrow, the next regularly scheduled service day is Friday, October 16, 2026
