Mosquito Control

The function of the Mosquito Control Department is to effectively control mosquitoes in our county by reducing the maturation of larvae into adulthood to provide a source of control of the mosquito numbers. This is accomplished by chemical and natural means of larviciding or source reduction of habitats, and by chemical spraying for control of adults. They also inform the public of ways to prevent mosquitos from breeding in and around their homes.
